Please be aware that Universal FCU seeks to sell any repossessed collateral for the maximum price possible, with no preferential treatment to any individual or business. Our asking price is a guide for the fair market value of the collateral, and does not represent an actual selling price. You may bid either higher or lower than the asking price. The winning bidder will be notified by phone and will be given 48 hours to deliver either cash or certified funds to the Credit Union.
We may extend the deadline for bidding at our own discretion, or may choose to dispose of the property in another manner if we believe we can obtain a higher price.
We may change our procedure at any time, without notice.
Universal FCU offers no warranty, expressed or implied, on any repossessed property. The property you are bidding on is being sold “AS IS”.

BIDDING ON REPOSSESSED COLLATERAL
Information and Rules on Bidding:
The following rules and procedures apply to the sale of property repossessed by Universal FCU. Your bid will be subject to these rules and procedures:
1) All bids are cash or certified fund bids. Credit Union members may arrange for loans contingent on being the successful bidder, prior to the submission of the bid.
2) Universal FCU reserves the right to accept or reject any bids at their discretion.
3) The bidder warrants and represents that he/she has inspected the property.
4) No warranties or representations, expressed or implied, apply to the property. The property is sold “AS IS”. The bidder assumes the risk of any defects or problems with the property.
5) Bids will be accepted until the date and time stated by the Credit Union. The amount of the bid must be delivered to the Credit Union within 48 hours of the date the bid was accepted.
